Dallas Tops Houston 121-115
Mavs win 7th straight, with Dončić and Irving leading the way in scoring
Luka Dončić had 47 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists, and Kyrie Irving added 24 points and seven assists as the Dallas Mavericks won their seventh straight game, beating the Houston Rockets 121-115 on November 28.
The Mavericks led by as many as 15 points in the first half, but the Rockets closed the gap to 62-59 at halftime. Houston tied the game at 73-73 in the third quarter, but Dallas pulled away again in the fourth quarter.
Dončić scored 13 of his points in the fourth quarter, and Irving hit a key three-pointer with 2:30 remaining to give the Mavericks a 114-107 lead.
The Rockets were led by Jalen Green, who had 28 points. Kevin Porter Jr. added 25 points and Alperen Sengun had 21 points and 11 rebounds.
With the win, the Mavericks improved to 13-10 on the season, while the Rockets fell to 9-13.
The Mavericks will host the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night, while the Rockets will visit the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.
